Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They are used to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and ensure the platform functions correctly.
Akatora does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
To keep you logged in, Akatora stores a login session in your browser’s local storage. This is strictly necessary for the app to function — without it, you’d have to log in again on every page. This is not a tracking cookie and doesn’t require your consent under EU law, since it’s essential to the service you’ve asked for.
If you enable push notifications, your browser also stores a notification subscription so we can deliver alerts to your device.
If you use Akatora as an installed app (PWA), your browser caches some app assets (images, icons) locally so the app loads faster and can work offline — this is a performance feature, not tracking.
At this time, Akatora does not use any analytics or visitor-tracking tools. If this changes in the future, we will update this notice, and if the tool we choose ever requires cookies or consent, we will add a cookie banner at that time. Our current intention, if we do add analytics, is to use privacy-first tools that don’t use cookies or collect personal data.
Akatora uses a map service to display locations. Loading the map may involve requests to font/style resources hosted outside the EU, but these requests don’t include any of your personal data. Only generic map display information.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to Akatora.
Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified when new cookies are set. Refer to your browser’s help documentation for instructions.
We may update this Cookie Notice as the platform evolves. The date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent version.
